Medical Device & Prescription Disclaimer

At CPAP Store DFW, we are committed to full transparency and compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The following disclaimer outlines our prescription policies and defines the scope of our responsibilities as a retailer of respiratory therapy equipment.

Prescription Requirements

In accordance with FDA regulations and professional standards of care, certain respiratory therapy products require a valid prescription from a licensed healthcare provider before they can be fulfilled. These include but are not limited to:

  • CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) machines
  • BiPAP (BiLevel Positive Airway Pressure) machines
  • Oxygen concentrators (stationary or portable)
  • Nebulizer systems

Orders for these devices will be placed on hold pending prescription verification. We reserve the right to cancel any such order if a valid prescription is not submitted in a timely manner.

CPAP Masks, Accessories, and Replacement Parts

CPAP Store USA offers a wide range of components such as mask frames, cushions, headgear, tubing, and filters. These parts are available for purchase individually or as bundled convenience kits. While full CPAP masks with headgear may be classified as prescription items by the FDA, our bundled kits consist of unassembled, individually available components provided solely for customer convenience.

By purchasing these products, the customer affirms that they are either:

  • Replacing parts for an existing prescribed CPAP/BiPAP therapy setup;
  • Possess a valid prescription for any item that may require one under federal law; or
  • Purchasing for lawful educational, testing, or non-clinical use.

No Medical Advice or Therapeutic Claims

CPAP Store DFW does not provide medical advice or therapeutic recommendations. All products are sold as-is with manufacturer documentation. It is the customer’s responsibility to consult with their physician for diagnosis, treatment, or product suitability.

Regulatory Compliance & Right to RefuseWe reserve the right to:

  • Request a valid prescription for any order at our discretion;
  • Refuse, cancel, or hold any order that appears to violate FDA or state law;
  • Report suspected misuse or fraud to appropriate authorities.

By completing a purchase, the customer agrees to hold CPAP Store DFW harmless from any claims, penalties, or damages resulting from non-compliance with medical device laws.
